Wheat (Kothumai) Kali

Ingredients

  1. Wheat flour                                        - 1 cup
  2. Jiggery                                                  - 1 ½ cup
  3. Cashew nut                                        - as required
  4. Sultanas (Dry grapes)                     - as required
  5. Powdered cardamom                    - 1 tsp
  6. Ghee                                                     - 1 tsp

Method

  1. Fry the wheat flour and bake like idly.
  2. Make syrup in jiggery mix the baked flour stir well.
  3. Fry cashew nuts, sultanas and cardamom powder in ghee.
  4. Mix into a kadai, stir well till thickened.
  5. Remove from fire and serve hot.
