Vermicelli sooji vegetable (Kolukattai)
Ingredients
- Vermicelli - 1 cup
- Sooji (Rava) - 1 cup
- Coconut (Created) - 1 cup
- Vegetable - 1 cup
- Water - 5 cup
- Oil - 2 tsp
- Green chillies - 5 (Chopped)
- Ginger (Chopped) - ½ tsp
- Asafoetida - ¼ tsp
- Curry leaves - 1 spring
- Coriander leaves - 1 spring
- Mustarded seeds - ½ tsp
- Cumin - 1 tsp
- Black gram - ½ tsp
- Salt - to taste
Method
- Roast vermicelli and sooji (Rava) separately.
- Heat oil in kadai, and mustard seeds, cumin, ginger, Black gram, asafoetida, green chillies, curry leaves and Coriander leaves fry well. Then add 5 cups of water and Vegetable cook add salt.
- Allow to boil then add vermicelli cook at least 2 minutes. Then add sooji (Rava) stir well and cook in a slow fire till. The water extracts.
- Remove from fire and allow cooling.
- Make a ball in the mixer and bake like idly till cook.
- Remove from heat and serve hot.
- There is no need any accompaniments.
