Sooji Uppuma
Ingredients
- Sooji / Rava - 2 cups
- Onion - 1 (Chopped)
- Green chillies - 5 (Slited)
- Salt - to taste
- Water - 4 cups
- Mustard seeds black gram - ½ tsp
- Curry leaves - 1 spring
- Oil - 1 spoon full
- Bengal gram - 1 tsp
Method
- Heat oil in kadai, add mustard seeds, Bengal gram, black gram dhal, onion, green chillies (Slited).
- Add sooji and fry till golden brown.
- Add 4 cup of hot water salt and curry leaves, close the pan and allow cooking it at least 5 minutes.
- Remove from fire.
- Serve hot with coconut chutney / sugar.
