Soji (Rava) Uppuam

Ingredients

  1. Sooji                                                      - 2 cup
  2. Onion                                                    - 1
  3. Green chillies                                     - 6
  4. Coriander leaves                              - 1 tsp (Chopped)
  5. Curry leaves                                       - 1 tsp (Chopped)
  6. Salt                                                         - to taste
  7. Oil and Ghee (Mixer0                     - ¼ cup
  8. Mustard seeds                                  - ½ tsp
  9. Black gram dhal                                 - 1 tsp
  10. Bengal gram dhal                             - 1 tsp
  11. Lime                                                      - 1

Method

  1. Slice onions slit green chillies
  2. Heat oil and ghee mixer in kadai add seasoning ingredients add green chillies and onion.
  3. Then add Sooji / Rava cook 2 minutes in slow fire.
  4. Heat measured water add hot water into sooji / rava mix cook in slow in fire.
  5. Simmer till the water reduces.
  6. Remove from fire and garnish with coconut (Grated) lime juice and coriander leaves, serve hot.
