Samosa

Ingredients

  1. Refined flour (Maida)                                                    - 2 cup
  2. Salt                                                                                         - ½ tsp
  3. Ghee / Oil                                                                           - 4 tsp
  4. Water                                                                                   - 4 tsp
  5. Potato                                                                                  - 4 (Medium size)
  6. Onion                                                                                    - 2 (Sliced)
  7. Green peas                                                                        - ¼ cup
  8. Ginger (Chopped)                                                           - 1 tsp
  9. Green chillies                                                                     - 3 (Chopped)
  10. Coriander leaves                                                              - 1 Bunch (Chopped)
  11. Coater                                                                                  - 3 tsp
  12. Coriander powder                                                           - 1 tsp
  13. Cumin powder                                                                  - 3 tsp
  14. Chat masala powder                                                       - 1 tsp
  15. Amachoor powder                                                          - 1 tsp
  16. Garam masala                                                                   - ½ tsp
  17. Lemon juice                                                                       - 1 tsp
  18. Oil                                                                                           - for frying          
  19. Maida water (Like gum)                                                                - 2 tsp (Maida and water dilution)

Method

  1. Mix oil with refined flour, salt mix roughly.
  2. Make balls with help of 4 tsp water rub well.
  3. Till soft rub continuously leave for proof at least 3 minutes.
  4. Heat 5 tsp oil in kadai, add onion and fry till golden brown add ginger, green peas, gram chillies coriander fry well add 2 tsp water add cook well.
  5. Add potato pieces, coriander powder, garam masala, Cumin powder, amachoor powder, chat masala and lemon juice mix well and allow cooling then making 8 balls.  In dough and make round chaptti and cut into 2.
  6. Make a cone and fill the masalas and cover the open area with Maida water (Like gum).
  7. Heat oil fries the samosa and serve with tomato sauce.
