Rice Uppuma

Ingredients

  1. Rice rava (Broken rice (Noi))                       - 2 cups
  2. Red chillies                                                          - 4
  3. Mustard seeds and black gram                  -  2 tsp
  4. Onion                                                                    - 1 no
  5. Oil                                                                           - 1 spoon full
  6. Water                                                                   - 2 cups
  7. Curry leaves                                                       - 1 spring

Method

  1. Heat oil in kadai, add mustard seeds, black gram dhal, red chillies fry.
  2. Then add chopped onion and rice rava.
  3. Add 2 cups of hot water and mix well.
  4. Cook in a slow fire at least 5 minutes.
  5. Garnish with curry leaves and serve hot.
