Rice Kitchaedi
Ingredients
- Rice Soogji (Rice rava) - 4 cups
- Thoor dhal / Red gram dhal - ½ cup
- Onion - 100 gm
- Tomato - 100 gm
- Green chillies - 1
- Cumin - 2 tsp
- Cloves - 3
- Sambar powder - 2 tsp
- Turmeric powder - ½ tsp
- Beans - 50 gm
- Potato - 100 gm
- Carrot - 100 gm
- Curry leaves - 1 spring
- Salt - to taste
- Oil - 30 ml
- Coriander leaves - 2 springs
Method
- Clean, wash and cut vegetables in cubes.
- Chop, green chillies, wash rice sooji.
- Soak thoor dhal, chop onion and tomato.
- Heat oil in kadai, add cumin, cloves fry well. Then add onion, tomato, curry leaves, Sambar powder, and turmeric powder fry well.
- Then add vegetable (Cubed) green chillies. Rice sooji and thoor dhan (soaked) add 1:3 ratio of water stir well.
- Add salt and allow cooking till rice cooked remove from heat.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with pappad.
