Rava Putu

Ingredients

  1. Sooji                                                      - ¼
  2. Sugar                                                     - 150 gm
  3. Cardamom                                          - 4
  4. Coconut                                               - ½ (grated)
  5. Ghee                                                     - 2 tsp
  6. Cashew nut                                        - 25gm
  7. Sultanas (dry grapes)                     - 25gm
  8. Salt                                                         - a pinch

Method

  1. Roast sooji  in kadai, till golden colour.
  2. Allow to cool add salt and water soak at least 10 minutes.
  3. Then cook in idly plate at least 15 minutes.
  4. Fry cashew nuts and sultanas in ghee.
  5. Put putu in to a plate sprinkle coconut, cardamom powder, cashew nut and sultanas mix well add sugar mix well serve hot.
