Pesarattu
Ingredients
- Split green gram dhal - 2 cups
- Onion - 2
- Green chillies - 2
- Ginger garlic paste - ½ tsp
- Salt - to taste
For chutney
- Coconut - ½
- Chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Tamarind juice - 1 tsp
- Salt - to taste
- Mustard seeds - ½ tsp
- Curry leaves - 1 spring
Method
- Soak gram and grind well. Set aside for 2 hours.
- Add salt, chilly, onion and ginger mix well.
- Heat tawa pour the batter and make the roti.
- Grind coconut, add tamarind juice and chilli powder mix it well. Heat the oil add mustard seeds and curry leave.
- Mix it with coconut paste.
- Serve the pesarattu with the chutney.
