Nutritious Wheat Vermicelli
Ingredients
- Wheat - 200 gm
- Green grain - 100 gm
- Pannier pieces - 100 gm
- Onion - 2
- Green chillies - 2 (silted)
- Tomato - 1
- Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
- Ajinomotto - a pinch
- Salt - to taste
- Curry leaves - as required
- Coriander leaves - as required
- Gingili oil - 100 ml
- Cloves, cinnamon bay leaves - a small
- Coconut (Grated) - ½ cup
- Lemon - 1
- Cucumber - 1
- Chilly powder - 1 tsp
Method
- Soak wheat allow to grow one day (Mulaikattu).
- Then add salted water (Sprinkle over) and bake. Like idly bake green gram 3/4th strain well.
- Heat oil in kadai and add cloves, cinnamon and bay leaf. Add vermicelli, green gram backed, slited green chillies chilly powder, garam masala powder, ajinomotto, salt and coconut.
- Fry pannier pieces in oil separately.
- Add the fried pannier in to a mixer.
- Add lime juice, coriander leaves, mix well.
- Garnish with sliced tomato and cucumber.
- It is one well protisious and tasty dish.
