Masala Dosai
Ingredients
- Idly Rice - 100gm
- Raw rice - 100 gm
- Black gram - 50gm
- Fenugreek - 1 tsp
- Salt - to taste
- Oil - 100ml
For Masala
- Potato - 100gm
- Onion - 50gm
- Tomato - 50gm
- Ginger, garlic paste - 15gm
- Curry leaves - 1 spring
- Coriander leaves - 1 tsp (Chopped)
- Green chillies - 3
- Turmeric powder - 1 Pinch
- Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
- Salt - to taste
- Oil - 50 gm
Methods
- Clean, soak and grind the rice.
- Soak and grind the Black gram and fenugreek together.
- Mix the batter with salt.
- Allow to ferment for 6-8 hours.
Method for Masala
- Chop the onion, tomato and green chillies.
- Clean, wash, cook and peel potatoes.
- Chop coriander leaves and curry leaves.
- Heat little oil in kadai, add mustard seeds and onion fry it well.
- Add ginger garlic paste, then add tomato turmeric powder Curry leaves, coriander leaves, green chillies fry well.
- Mash and add the potato in to the mixer, fry well if required add water and salt.
- Heat tawa pour the batter like dosa put one spoon masala into center and fold dosa dn serve hot.
