Mango chutney
Ingredients
- Mango - 1 (if sourced it’s so tasty)
- Coconut - 1
- Green chillies - 4
- Mustard seeds - as required
- Black gram dhal - a pinch
- Asafoetida - a pinch
- Salt - to taste
- Oil - as required
Method
- Peel and cut mango in small pieces.
- Grate the coconut and cut green chillies.
- Grind together, mango, coconut and green chillies make a fine paste.
- Heat oil adds mustard, asafoetida, black gram and salt.
- Add mango and coconut paste cook well remove from fire.
