Keerai Wheat Adai
Ingredients
- Wheat sooji / Kothumai ravai - 1 cup
- Green gram - ½ cup
- Red gram / Thoor dhal - ¼ cup
- Bengal gram - ¼ cup
- Black gram - ¼ cup
- Arai keerai - ½ bunch
- Shallots (Onion small) - 1 cup (chop)
- Chillies - 4
- Ginger - 1 piece
- Salt - to taste
- Coconut oil - as required
- Pepper (Powdered) - 1 tsp
- Aniseeds (Powered) - 1 tsp
Method
- Soak wheat sooji (Kodhumai Rava) at least 2 hours.
- Soak green gram, black gram dhal.
- Soak Bengal gram and toor dhal.
- Grind wheat sooji (Kodhumai Rava), then add Bengal gram and Thoordhal grind more 5 minutes.
- Then add green gram and black gram, dhal grind well.
- Clean wash and chop araikeerai.
- Chop onion, green chillies, ginger.
- Add all things in to a batter, add pepper powder Aniseeds powder mix well.
- Heat tawa apply oil and pour the batter and make a adai, cook both sides.
- Remove from heat and serve hot.
