Idiyappam
Ingredients
- Rice (Parboiled) - 3 cups
- Raw rice - 1 hand full
- Salt - 2 ½ tsp
- Water - as required
Method
- Soak rice in hot water at least 1 ½ - 2 hours.
- Grind well add salt and water mix well.
- Cook in a idly plate (Like idly).
- Put the idlies in idiyappa ural (Idyappa squeezer).
- Allow to cool. Apply little oil on the idlyappam.
- Make varieties of idiyappam in the same way.
- Serve with khorma / Milk / Sugar/ Coconut milk or Coconut created.
