Chilli Bajji
Ingredients
- Bajji milagai (Chilli) - 200 gm
- Potato - 100 gm
- Bengal gram flour - 250 gm
- Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
- Baking soda - a pinch
- Turmeric powder - a pinch
- Oil - for deep frying
Method
- Boil and mash potato set a side.
- Heat the oil (3 tsp) in kadai, and the mustard seeds, Turmeric powder, salt and 2 cups of water allow to boil. Then add mashed potatoes mix well.
- Till the gravy thick end (Like masala)
- Cut the chillies / Bajji milagai in length wise remove the inner parts.
- Soak the chillies in hot water at least 5 minutes.
- Stuff the potato masala in the milakai.
- Make a batter with Bengal gram flour, salt and baking soda.
- Dip the stuffed milakai, in batter and fry in oil.
- Remove from heat and serve hot.
