Channa Masala
Ingredients
- Channa (white) - 50 gm
- Onion - 75 gm
- Tomato - 75 gm
- Ginger - 1 small piece
- Cumin - 1 tsp
- Chillies powder - 2 tsp
- Coriander powder - a pinch
- Turmeric powder - a pinch
- Channa masala powder - 3 tsp
- Salt - to taste
- Oil - 100ml
- Coriander leaves - 1 spring
- Curry leaves - a pinch
- Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
Method
- Soka the channa at least 8 hours and cook (Boil).
- Grind onion, tomato, cumin seeds and coriander leaves together.
- Heat the oil in kadai, add onion and ground masala.
- Add the salt, chilli, coriander. Turmeric powder with boiled channa, and mix well.
- Then add garam masala and channa masala powder mix well.
- Garnish with curry leaves and coriander leaves remove from heat and serve hot.
