Aval Uppuma
Ingredients
- Aval (Rice flakes) - 200 gm
- Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
- Pepper - ½ tsp
- Black gram dhal - 1 tsp
- Salt - to taste
- Oil - 50 gm
Method
- Soak rice flakes / Aval at least ½ an hour.
- Heat oil in Kadai adds mustard seeds, pepper, salt and black gram dhal season it.
- Add soaked and drained Rice flakes / Aval.
- It required add curry leave for seasoning.
- Add fried cashew nuts and mix well.
- Remove from the fire serve hot.
